MACKIE GRACE MCLAUGHLIN Born November 16, 1902 in Audubon Co, Iowa. The daughter of Frank and Cora McLaughlin. She had three brothers and three sisters who preceded her in death. She had nine nieces and nephews and is a great aunt and a great great aunt to many peoples whom she loves very much. Grace graduated from high school in Audubon Iowa and received a B.S. degree from Drake University, Des Moines Iowa. She taught school at Dallas Center Iowa, Lead South Dakota, and Oakland California. She married Oiva R. Mackie June 3, 1940. Mike as he was known died April 26, 1970. Mrs. Mackie was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Alameda and served terms as a Deacon and Elder. Her main interest being Sunday School and Youth. At Grace's request no services will be held. In Lieu of flowers memorial Contributions can be made to Meals on Wheels P.O.
