Thelma O. Boyd, of Littlestown, died October 11, 2012, in Hanover. She was the widow of Albert Boyd who died January 13, 1991.
Born April 27, 1916, in Gettysburg, she was the daughter of the late Charles C. & Mary M. (Trostle) Mackley.
She had been employed with Hanover Shoe Co. for 10 years.
Thelma was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Two Taverns, which she enjoyed attending. She played "500" and "Pitch" and enjoyed cross-word puzzles.
Thelma is survived by a daughter, Constance B. Bankert and husband, Grove, of Silver Run, MD; a son, Joe D. Boyd and wife, Connie, of Littlestown, PA; 10 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Phyetta Clabaugh of Hanover.
Thelma was predeceased by a brother, Wilbur E. Mackley and three sisters, Rogenia Brown, Elizabeth Eckert and Hulda Lippy.
A funeral service will be, October 15, 2012, at 10 a.m., at Little's Funeral Home, Littlestown, with Pastor Timothy J. Kielley of New Hope Faith Community Church, Littlestown, officiating. Interment will be in Marburg Memorial Gardens, Hanover.
