JACOB HARBAUGH MACKLEY died suddenly at his home, 124 West Fourth street Saturday evening, aged 70 years. He was a son of the late Milton and Mary Little Mackley.

He was a member of Calvary Methodist Church for 46 years, and also a charter member of the Leaders Bible Class of the church. Mr. Mackley was a former member of the Official Board of the church. Mr. Mackley was a former member of the Official Board of the church. For over 45 years he had been employed by D.C. Winebrener and Son, Inc. as a shipping clerk.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Blanche Williams Mackley, two children, Meredith H. Mackley and Mrs. Willard H. Mercer, both of this city; two brothers, John H. Mackley, this city and Charles Mackley, Union Bridge.

Services were held at the M.R. Etchison and Son Funeral Home; interment in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
