Half-brother of John James MacEachern
Son of Alexander MacEachern and
Elizabeth Mathilda MacDonald MacEachern
Died in a well with John James (J.D.). They were digging a well (J.D. was a "diviner") and hit natural gas. Joe was overcome by the gas. J.D. went in to save him but he lost a shoulder blade in WWI and didn't have the strength to pull them both out. Joe is buried in the site beside him.
