Evelyn L. Allen-deceased. They had five children, Dr. Kenneth Allen (Elizabeth), David Allen (Sandy), Frank Allen (Kathy), Judith Flahive (Shawn-deceased), & Karen Allen-deceased. Evelyn was married to Alfred Allen for 28 years. She met & married William (Bill) MacDougall of San Mateo, CA. They were married for 28 years until Bill's passing in 2005. Evelyn had four step children with Bill - Nancy Moffett (Mike), Mike MacDougall (Mattie), Susan Lenox and Dr. Barbara Adamcik. Our mom had four brothers and three sisters, all deceased except the youngest sister Eileen who is living in Missouri. She was an active member of the Congregational Church of San Mateo since 1977. Evelyn joined bowling leagues on both Monday & Friday afternoons, bowling up to within 5 weeks of her passing; played cards on Wednesdays and still managed to keep a beautiful garden. Though she enjoyed traveling, her greatest joys were her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Evelyn was a wonderful mother, grandmother, friend, & a beautiful person. A Celebration of Evelyn's Life will be held at the Congregational Church of San Mateo 225 Tilton Ave. San Mateo on December 10, 2011 at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Congregational Church of San Mateo which has meant so much to our mother. Crippen & Flynn Carlmont Chapel (650) 595-4103.
