Mildred Arena of Bedford, IN, died Tuesday, September 7, 1999, at the Bedford Regional Medical Center. Born on August 1, 1919, in Bedford, IN, she was the daughter of Milford and Nellie (Tumey) MacDonald. She married Frank Arena on September 25, 1939, and he survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Joe Arena of Anderson, IN, and Mike Arena of Bedford, IN; two daughters, Donna Bridwell and Frances Hatfield, both of Bedford, IN; three sisters: Frances Cameron and Betty Hunter, both of Bedford, IN, and Rosemand "Chee-Chee" Kittle of Ventura, CA; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by four brothers: Martin, Lester, Walter "Ebie" and Wilbur "Bill" MacDonald; and two sisters, Katherine and Juanita MacDonald.

She was a homemaker and a member of Grace Full Gospel Church.

Services for Mildred Arena will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 10th, at the Grace Full Gospel Church with the Rev. Brent O'Neal officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery.
