[Note: Daughter of Thomas J. & Nancy V. ( ) Stoner; married 12 Feb 1888 James M. Mabe 1856 - 1918]

Sister Jerusha C. Mabe was born in Nemaha County, Neb., May 19th 1871 and departed this life Nov. 19, 1905 at Galena, Kansas.

She was joined in marriage to James M. Mabe Feb. 12, 1888, to which union 8 children were born, three of them having receded her to the spirit world.

She leaves her husband and five children to mourn her loss. Also an aged father and mother, two brothers and one sister. She was the daughter of T. J. and M. C. Stoner.

She joined the Christian church in 1892 and lived a consistent member till her death which was 34 years, 6 months and 9 days. funeral services were held at Highlandville on Wednesday 22nd, conducted by O. F. Snow, after which burial took place east of town known as the Highlandville cemetery. O. F. S.
