Lillian Mack Emerson, 89, ended her earthly journey on Monday, March 17, 2014. She was born in Micanopy, Florida on January 29, 1925, to L.R. Tuck and Inez Chitty Mack. On December 10, 1943, she married the love of her life, Carrol B. (C.B.) Emerson, Jr. They moved to Jacksonville in 1947. Lillian was Woo Woo to her grandchildren, great grandchildren and all of their friends. She was Aunt Lil and Aunt Chookie to her nieces and nephews. She loved people and she loved telling them about her family. She was a faithful Christian and looked forward to the day she would be reunited with C.B. in heaven, who predeceased her in 1984.

Lillian is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Carol and Jim Royal, Jean and Emery Clance, Kaye and Stan Stephens, and Beth and Reggie Touchton, all of Jacksonville. She is also survived by her grandchildren Allison and Kevin Volpe, Jimmy Royal, Kenny Clance, Brooke and Jim Brady, Jeff and Stephanie Royal, and Brad Stephens. She had five great grandchildren who were the light of her life; Grace Royal, Matthew Royal, Michael Brady, Lillian Kaye Brady and Luke Brady. She is also survived by a brother-in-law, James C. Emerson of Micanopy, numerous nieces and nephews, and many other loved ones.

A celebration of Lillian's life will be held graveside, 11:00 am on Wednesday, March 19, 2014, at the Historic Micanopy Cemetery, Micanopy, Florida. The service will be officiated by her son-in-law, Reggie Touchton. The family would like to thank the staff at The Atrium and Heartland Hospice for their care of our mother. Arrangements are under the care of Milan Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 311 S Main St., Gainesville, FL 32601.
