Mrs. Esta Lytton Bobbitt, 2505 Clarksville, Apt. A11, died at McCuistion Regional Medical Center [Paris, TX] Sunday, 7 Jun 1981. Funeral services were held Tuesday, 9 Jun at Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry L. Winfield of Howland Baptist Church and the Rev. Bob Hanson of the Central United Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery [Paris, TX].

Mrs. Bobbitt was born [Jun 27 1901] in Howland, a daughter of David A. Mashburn and the former Mauda Denton. She attended public schools in Howland and Paris. She married Fred Duncan Lytton in December, 1939 and he preceded her in death on 24 Dec 1959 [Lamar Co., TX]. She married Alfred H. Bobbitt on 9 Feb, 1963.

Mrs. Bobbitt was an interior decorator and operated the Paris Floor Covering and Drapery Co., from 1943 to 1965. She was a member of the Altrusa and has been a member of the Paris Garden Club for a number of years. She is a former member of Business and Professional Woman's Club, is a member of Central Presbyterian Church and was a member of the Anchor Sunday School Class.

Survivors include her husband, Alfred H. Bobbitt of Paris; one step daughter, Mrs. Sue Worley of Dallas; one brother, David Mashburn of Paris; one sister, Mrs. Mauda Newman of Fort Worth; four step grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
