Bessie Diehl Lynn was the daughter of William H Diehl (1855-1956) and his wife, Florence Stanton Diehl (1866-1924) both of whom are interred in the Washburn Street Cemetery in Scranton, PA. Her first husband was John Lynn, apparently they divorced. However they did have three children together: John Diehl Lynn, Jr. (1917-2001)- John Diehl Lynn is interred in Live Oaks Memorial Park; Ernest Crabill Lynn (1916-1992) interred in the South Eaton Cemetery, Wyoming Co, PA ; and Miss Florence Emeline Lynn, a Vice-Principal of a Pasadena, California school (1912-2001) also interred in the Forest Lawn Cemetery.
