The death of James S. Lynn occurred yesterday morning at 6 o'clock at the home of his sister, Miss Margaret Lynn, No. 224 South Fourth street, the result of paralysis. He was 52 years old and was unmarried. He came to this city from Rochester, N. Y., where he was born, when 13 years old and had resided here ever since. He was a veterinary surgeon and was quite well known in the city. Mr. Lynn was the first man from LaFayette to cross the Atlantic ocean with a cargo of German coach horses. He leaves a sister and one brother, Andrew Lynn.
The funeral will occur Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the house. Rev. John P. Hale officiating. Interment in Springvale cemetery. Services public, burial private.
