Doris S. Lynge, Age 95, of Madison WI and Plano, TX died peacefully on Friday June 14, 2013 at Oakwood Village.

She was born on October 7, 1917 in Christopher, IL, the daughter of Ray and Ola Spurrier.

Her husband Gene Lynge, her son Gene Lynge Jr. and her daughter Stephany L. Halverson preceded Doris in death.

Doris was a sweet southern lady with a beautiful smile who was always doing something nice for someone other than herself. She cherished her time with friends at Frist Christian church in Plano, TX. She loved pretty things and could design a room or create a window in a dress shop where she worked with ease. She and Gene enjoyed working at First National bank until their retirement.

Survivors include her loving Son-in-Law, Ron (Joan) Halverson of Madison; her three grandchildren Elizabeth Nickerson of Chandler, AZ, Eric (Aimee) Halverson of Oregon, WI, Ann (Todd) Christian of San Jose, CA; six great-grandchildren, Mason, Caroline, Austin, Hannah, Dylan, and Delainey; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday June 20, 2013 at 11:00 PM at the Oakwood Village Chapel.

A service and reception at First Christian Church in Plano, TX will be held on a date TBD.

A private burial service will be held at Restland Cemetery in Dallas, TX.
