| Birth: | Mar. 26, 1925 High Point Guilford County North Carolina, USA | | Death: | Mar. 8, 2009 High Point Guilford County North Carolina, USA |  HIGH POINT — Mrs. Faye McAnally Lynch Burrow, 83, a resident of Wesleyan Arms, died Sunday morning, March 8, 2009, at Wesleyan Arms.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday morning, March 10, in the Sechrest Funeral Chapel, 1301 E. Lexington Ave., conducted by Reverend Allen Brown, Sr. Interment will follow in Floral Garden Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Burrow was born May 26, 1925, in High Point, a daughter of Albert Hafford and Nellie Smith Lynch. She was employed as a nursing assistant with High Point Regional Hospital for 26 years before retiring and was of the Baptist faith. Faye's grandparents, George and Cora Smith were a major part of her life.
In April 1965, she was married to James Lester Burrow who preceded her in death on September 19, 2006. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Linda French McDowell; a son, Roger French and two brothers, Roger and Jerry Bishop.
Surviving are six daughters, Judith French Woodard and husband, Frank of High Point, Barbara French Sechrist of Thomasville, Sharon French Elekes and husband, Joseph of Greensboro, Kathy French McDow of Sophia, Robin French Daniels and husband, Tim of Greensboro, Janet Burrow Davidson and husband, Bob of Greensboro; one step- daughter, Betty Martin and husband, Gary of Chattanooga, Tenn.; one son, Steve French and wife, Zandra of Archdale; 16 grandchildren; many great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
