HIGHLAND, ILL. NEWS--
   Mrs. Julia Lynch, passed away at her home last Thursday, Dec. 28, after an illness of many mnonths, having suffered a stroke last spring. Funeral services were held at St. Paul's Church Tuesday morning, Jan. 2 with Rev. A.M. Hohl, Rev. H. Knoedler and Rev. A.G. Kunsch officiating. Interment was made in the Catholic Cemetery.
   Mrs. Lynch was born in St. Louis on Sept. 15, 1860 and later the family moved to Pierron. On Nov. 11, 1884, she was united in marriage to Matthew Lynch and they lived in Highland most of their wedded life. Mr. Lynch passed away Feb. 28, 1935. Six children were born to their union, five of whom survive. They are one son, Timothy Lynch of Chester, and four daughters, Sister M. Janice, S.S.N.D., of Conway, Ark., and Misses Mattie, Theresa and Mary of Highland. She also leaves one brother, Jerome Coffey of Vandalia and one sister, Mrs. Mary Greeley of Highland. She was a member of St. Paul's Church, the Altar Society and Poor Souls Confraternity.
