Norma Jean Lyda Capps, 72, of Mountain Home passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 following a sudden illness.
She was a native of Henderson County, and was predeceased by her parents, Zachary W. and Ethel Barrett Lyda.
She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Ed Capps; two sons: Ricky Capps, and his wife, Tina, of Easley, SC and Gregory Capps of Hendersonville; daughter, Jan Kwiatkowski and her husband, Jeff, of Asheville; eight grandchildren: Zachary, Taylor Andy, Ben, Lars, Lance, Madison, and Megan; and one great-grandchild.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at Shepherd Memorial Park, with the Rev. Phillip Trees officiating.
