Services for Mrs. Rebecca Luton Allen, 90, of Route 2 Golden Pond, will be at 1pm Wednesday at Goodwin Funeral Home in Cadiz. The Rev. Archie Brock will officiate, and burial will be in Little River Cemetery in Trigg County.
Mrs. Allen died at 8:30pm Monday at Trigg County Hospital. She had been ill since April and had been hospitalized since May 4.
A native of Trigg County, she was born Oct. 12, 1876, the daughter of the late Lewis and Mary Lancaster Luton.
In October 1897 she married Fay H. Allen who died in 1932.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. A.L. Jones of Sturgis; a grandson, John Lloyd Allen of Golden Pond and two great grandchildren, John Phillip and Bonnie Jane Allen. A number of nieces and nephews also survives.
One son, William Lloyd Luton, preceded her in death in 1965.
