Grace E. Helton, 85, of Ulman died Sunday, Nov. 25, 1990, at Miller County Nursing Home. She was born Nov. 29, 1904 in Ulman to Burt and Lena Lamb Lupardus. On Nov. 28, 1920, she was married in Granite City, Ill. to Guy Helton who died April 11, 1979.
Mrs. Helton lived in the Ulman area most of her life and was a member of the Ulman Christian Church.
Surviving her are four sons, Lloyd Helton and Larry Helton, both of Ulman, Lohman Helton of Leavenworth, Kan., and Paul Helton of Algonac, Mich.; two brothers, Harley Lupardus and Ted Lupardus, both of Ulman; a sister, Joan Schraer of Ulman; 17 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Ulman Christian Church with Bro. Gene Edwards and Bro. Larry Schraer officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery under the direction of Stevinson-Mossman Funeral Home of Iberia. Visitation was held from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
