Angela Grace Collins Blankenship Lunsford, 40, of the Lester's Fork section of Grundy, died Thursday, April 7, 2011 at Buchanan General Hospital.

Born in Buchanan County, she was the daughter of Jimmy Collins, of Hurley, and the late Lorraine Blankenship Collins.

She was a lifelong resident of Buchanan County and a graduate of Hurley High School. She worked as a C.N.A. for Buchanan General Hospital, worked for Appalachian Agency for Senior Citizens and the Paramount Industries.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Morgan and Gracie Davis Blankenship and paternal grandparents, Andrew and Rosie Collins.

She is survived by her husband, William Travis Lunsford, of Bristol, VA; three sons, William Andrew Morgan Blankenship and Caleb Jamal Matney, both of Grundy, and Brylee Dalton Douglas Lunsford, of Bristol; one brother, Jimmy Collins and wife, Karen, of Hurley; a niece, Alyssa Collins, of Hurley; and special friends, Ashley Looney, Jeneen Pierce, Susan Matney, Beulah Matney and Kathy Osborne.

Funeral services were conducted Monday, April 11, 2011 at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronald Lester officiating. Burial followed in the Mountain Valley Memorial Park at Big Rock.

Active pallbearers were Matt Looney, Wayne Stiltner, Ethan Stiltner, Barrett Justice, Ralph Stacy and Richard Cruey.

Honorary pallbearers were family and friends.
