Born July 11, 1924 in Round Springs, Missouri and she entered into rest at her residence in Salem, Missouri on June 2, 2012 at the age of 87 years, ten months and 22 days.
On September 8, 1942, Lorene Weber was united in marriage to Walter Lundy and to their union eight children were born. Walter preceded her in death on January 23, 1994.
Survivors include her children; Lucille Lovell and husband, Pink; Darell Lundy; Doug Lundy and wife, Joyce; Lonnie Lundy and wife, Margaret; Randy Lundy and Larry Lundy, all of Salem, Missouri; sisters, Dorothy Strauser and husband, Ted, of House Springs, Missouri; Gerty Taylor; Leda Jackson and husband, Harry; Janet Marrill and husband, Carl; sister-in-law, Della Weber, all of Salem, Missouri; 17 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren, many great-great-grandchildren and step-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Ben and Mary Weber; her husband, Walter; two sons, Ronnie Lee and Donald Gene; three grandchildren; four brothers; two sisters; one daughter-in-law and one great-granddaughter.
Lorene and Walter lived in Salem for many years and they worked hard to provided for their family. As long as she was able, she did sewing and quilting for her family. She loved her family deeply and they brought her great joy. She was a loving, wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, step-grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt and friend to many and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
