Born in Hickory Co., Mo. Died in Polk Co., Mo. Married to William J.W. Lunderman (Nov 1, 1859)in Hickory, Mo. (also buried at Mt. View see his BIO).

Had 3 boys and 5 girls, one of which died as an infant (Henrietta, Nancy Elizabeth, Marcellus Alexander, Mary Jane "Molly", Ida Jose, Oliver L. "Cap", Catherine "L" "Kittie", McCord L.).

Joined Mt. View Baptist Church with her husband William in Dec 1879.

Father William Beavers (1790-1858). Mother Henrietta Frances Sheffield (1812-?).

Grandfather Major William Beavers (1746-1822) fought in the Revolutionary War. Owned Beavers Tavern and Beavers Mill in Virginia. According to the veteran's (George Vallandingham) sworn statement made in 1832, he entered the service as a
militiamen in a Loudoun County company commanded by Captain William
Beavers around the first of May, 1781. This company was marched to
Richmond, Virginia where they joined the Virginia Regiment commanded by
Colonel Merriwether (a part of General "Mad Anthony" Wayne's Army which
at this time was sent to aid Lafayette in his efforts against Lord
Cornwallis). The veteran stated that his company was forced to retreat
from near Richmond to the Rapidan River where General Wayne engaged the
British as a beginning of the Jamestown or James River campaign.

A paper submitted bythe Bland Ballard Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution in connection with marking the grave of an American Revolutionary Veteran, George Vallandingham.
