Married Nancy Cerilda Raburn on 12 March 1857, Jefferson Co., IN.
It appears he is living with several brothers and sisters on the 1850 Jefferson Co., IN census. The 1880 census indicates both his parents were born in England. His mother, Ann Lund, age 72, is living in the household, but her place of birth is shown as KY.

Burial of A. W. Lund
The funeral of the late Allen W. Lund from his farm residence west of the city, yesterday, was largely attended, there being 45 vehicles in line. There were many fine floral offerings. The services at the house were, at the request of the deceased, conducted by Mr. R. J. Hurlburt, and were very impressive and consoling to the relatives and friends of the deceased. The singing by the choir, consisting of Misses Mary Cochran and Mayme Grayson, Elmer Scott and Samuel Barrett, was beautiful and touching. The Odd Fellows' services at the grave were conducted by Mr. Will Harper in a very becoming manner. A number of relatives from a distance attended the funeral. On the way to the grave yard the procession stopped at the residence of the mother, who has been confined to her bed for about two years, and the corpse was taken in the house for the old lady to take a last farewell look at the cold and lifeless form of her departed son.
