Kirk was married to Beulah Ramer on September 12, 1948. He has 4 children, Mike, Pat, Kim and Lisa. Kirk also has 4 granddaughters, 4 grandsons and 7 great grandchildren. He served over 25 years in the US Army fighting overseas in WWII and supported the troops in Korea and Vietnam. He was in Counter Intelligence with the Army, working several years at the Pentagon, and served as Lead Special Agent for the security detail to protect the president (President Johnson) while assigned to the Pentagon. Some of his special assignments included investigating and declassifying Amelia Earhart and Dwight Eisenhower files prior to the release of any classified info to the public. He retired as a MSGT with over 25 years of service to his country. He was the son of Frank (Fred)and Mary(Smith) Lund. He loved animals, and life itself. He was a wonderful husband and father and is missed terribly by his family.
