Prior to her association with the bank she owned and operated Maralene's School of Dance. Surviving are a son and daughter in law, William 'Bill' Amis Jr. and Barbara of Richardson; a sister, Mrs. Burton 'Evelyn' Speck of Antlers, OK.; 2 grandchildren, Angela and Stefani Amis of Richardson, 2 aunts, Mrs. Elmer 'Loreta' Fortner of Atlanta, TX., and Mrs. Charles 'Mary Margaret' Pepper of Mineola and several nieces and nephews including Richard and Dean Amis, Pat Murphy and Lauren Rhodes, all of Paris.'
