BLACKSHEAR -- Mrs. Sylvia Latrell Luke Baggs, 56, died Sept. 22 at the Shands Hospital in Jacksonville, (Duval Co) Fla.

She was a native and lifelong resident of Pierce County. She was an office manager with the Piggly Wiggly grocery store in Waycross for 22 years and was a member of Blackshear Presbyterian Church, where she had been a Sunday School teacher.

SURVIVORS: two daughters and sons-in-law, Melanie B. and David K. Pittman Jr., and Angela B. and Kevin C. Manders, all of Blackshear; a sister, Sharon Luke Thornton Batten of Blackshear; a brother, Travis Luke of Blackshear; five grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

VISITATION: 6-9 p.m. Sunday at Pearson-Treadwell Funeral Home.

FUNERAL: 11 a.m. Monday at Ramah Primitive Baptist Church, burial in Ramah Cemetery.
