Bettye Gene Luedke, 68, of Waco, passed away, Sunday, Aug. 24, 2008. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 27, at Oakwood Cemetery with the Rev. Robert A. Nelson officiating. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2008, at OakCrest Funeral Home.
Bettye was born in Waco, Texas, the late to John Norman Hutto and Viola Sue (Thompson) Hutto. She retired from Owens-Illinois Corp., after 38 years of service.
Bettye is survived by daughter, Theresa Thompson, of Hewitt; sons, Charles Johnson and wife, Missy, of Crawford, Michael Johnson and wife, Linda, of Marlin, and Billy Luedke and fiancée, Melisa, of Waco; sisters, Peggy Carrol and husband, Wiley, and Anna Faye Blanchard, all of Waco; grandchildren Brandon, Amber, Holly, Brooke, Bailey, Billy Jr., Triston and Iris Cainon; and great-grandchild, Hailey.
