Old Settler Passes
A number of Scribner residents attended the funeral on Sunday of
the late Mrs. Augusta Luecking of Uehling which was held at St.
John's Lutheran church east of Scribner. Rev. Theo Norden
officiating. Mrs. Luecking died last Friday after an illness of
several weeks duration at the age of 86 years, the past 38 of which
were spent in Dodge county. She was the mother of Mrs. C. H.
Schwein of Uehling, and grandmother of E. J. Schwein of this city.
