Mrs. Langemeier Buried Saturday

Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie Luecking Langemeier, 72, were held
Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Wollmer & Warne Funeral Home and at 2
o'clock at St. John's Lutheran church, north of Hooper. The Rev. A.
H. Gebhardt officiated.

Music for the services was by the church choir, with Emil Rink as
organist. Pallbearers were Ray Landholm, Charles and Ralph
Wickert, Delbert and Marvin Plessing and Leon Langemeier.

Interment was made in the St. John's church cemetery.

Mrs. Langemeier, lifetime resident of this and the Scribner
communities, died last Wednesday afternoon at her home northeast of
Scribner.

She was born Jan. 7, 1880, on a farm northeast of Scribner. A
member of St. John's Lutheran church, Mrs. Langemeier was baptized
and confirmed in that church. She was married to Charles
Langemeier June 1, 1899 at St. John's church.

Surviving are a son, Herbert, at home; five daughters, Mrs. Albert
Wickert of West Point, Mrs. Ernest Plessing of Hooper, Miss Lenna
at home, Mrs. Richard Lierman and Mrs. Morris Lierman, both of
Fremont, 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother,
Herman Luecking of Scribner and a sister, Mrs. Mary Hasebroock of
Fremont.
