Eloise Green, 63, of Amarillo died Wednesday, March 8, 2006.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Greater Mount Olive Baptist Church with the Rev. Vurn Martin, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery by Warford-Walker Mortuary, 509 N. Hughes St.
Mrs. Green was born March 11, 1942, in Carthage to Alvin and Mary Johnson Luckey. She attended school in Seagraves.
Her first marriage was to Edward Wilson, and four children were born to this marriage. She later married J.W. Green after moving to Amarillo in 1966. She was a member of Greater Mount Olive Baptist Church, where she was a choir member, active in the missionary society and served as director of the Baptist Training Union. She was a member of the Wroten High Plains Court of Calanthe.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Rickt Wilson; three brothers; and two sisters.
Survivors include her husband, J.W.; two sons, James Wilson and Glen Wilson, both of Amarillo; a daughter, Doris Mustapha of Amarillo; a stepson, Gary Green of Lubbock; two stepdaughters, Dorothy Green of San Angelo and Sandra Green of Lubbock; a brother, Ben Luckey of Dallas; three sisters, Louise Crain and Minnie Bean, both of Dallas, and Gloria Hughes of Tahoka; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law, Gwendolyn Wilson of Amarillo.
