LUCKEY, Mrs. Enolie Myrtle of Rockdale. Age 91. Died 8/24/1974 (Sat.) in Richards Hospital after being in failing health for several months. Services held (Monday) in Phillips & Luckey Chapel. Burial in IOOF Cemetery, Rockdale. Rev. D.D. Simpson, pastor of First Baptist Church, and Rev. M.E. Brown, pastor of Full Gospel Chapel, officiated.
She was BORN 5/7/1883 near Rockdale to M/M. L.W. Miller. Married John R. Luckey on 2/22/1901 near Rockdale. She was a lifelong resident of Rockdale. Longtime member of the Methodist church. Preceded in death by husband, John R. Luckey in 1958 and a small son and infant daughter.
SURVIVORS: 4 sons, R.E. Luckey of Temple, W.G. Luckey of Liberty, Harvey Luckey and Lee Luckey, both of Rockdale; 3 daughters, Mrs. Eva Lena Wallace of San Antonio, Mrs. Amy Wagner and Mrs. Julia King, both of Rockdale; step-daughter, Mrs. Inez Alford of Rockdale; 20 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
