| Birth: | 1905, USA | | Death: | Apr. 25, 2006 Fort Wayne Allen County Indiana, USA |  Beasley, Adeline "Granma" ADELINE "GRANMA" BEASLEY, 100, of Fort Wayne, peacefully passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2006, with her family at her side at Hospice Home. She retired from International Harvester, in 1967 followed by many years of selfless volunteer work at Bethlehem Lutheran School and Church. She was the recipient of many service awards including the Jefferson Award and Sertoma International Service to Mankind Award. She loved children and was dedicated to improving their future and helping each to seek Jesus. Her favorite saying was "Jesus first, others next and yourself last." She lived by that and encouraged others to live by it also. She was also the Campbell's Soup Label and Box Tops For Education Coordinator for over 20 years. She also wrote articles for the church newsletter under the byline "Grandma Beasley Sez". Granny as known by her family will be sorely missed by her family and all who knew and loved her. Surviving are her granddaughter, Mary Lou (Reginald) Hill; great-granddaughter, Yolonda Snyder; great-grandson Jo-Devel Hill; great-great-granddaughters, Jameria and Dayanna Snyder; daughter-in-law, Wilma Snyder; nephew, David (Cynthia) Lucas of Lowell; and her many "adopted" children, grandchildren and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lucy May Lucas; husband, Vernon Beasley; son, Jack Snyder; and brother, William Lucas. Per her request no service or calling.
