Aged 91 years. Section 5, Block 261, Lot 3. Born in Powder Springs, Georgia, died in Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia.
------------------
Addie Fletcher Lowry Hallman was my great grandmother. Her father was James Fletcher Lowry, killed at the battle of Sailor's Creek, Virginia, in 1865. Her step-father was George Lowry, younger brother of James Fletcher Lowry. George Lowry and Sarah Emily (Sallie) Ragsdale Lowry didn't marry for about 9 years after James Fletcher Lowry was killed. If you look at Addie's siblings birth dates, you will see they were born after 1874. Thanks for reading. By the way, there is no grave for James Fletcher Lowry. We believe he was buried in a mass grave at the Sailor's Creek Battleground.
