MRS. ETHEL Aiken, 70, RESIDENT OF CUTLER SUCCUMBS IN WABASH
FLORA--Mrs Ethel Aiken, 70, of Cutler, died at 10:10 p.m. Saturday after suffering a heart attack while visiting her daughter at Wabash. She died at the Wabash County, Hospital.
Born south of Cutler on March 11, 1890, she was the daughter of John H. and Mary Ashba Lowery. Her marriage was to Bert Aiken on May 28, 1910 and he survives.
She was a member of the Cutler Presbyterian Church, the Bringhurst Order of Eastern Star and the Cutler Home Demonstration Club.
Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Troy Calloway, of Kokomo, Mrs. Ward A. Cree, of Lafayette, and Mrs. Joseph Bolinger, of Wabash; ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. One daughter, Alice preceded her in death.
Also surviving are two brothers, Jesse Lowery of Flora, and Carl Lowery, of Cutler.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Cutler Presbyterian church with Rev. Thomas Russell officiating. Burial will be in Ball Hill cemetery.
