Marjorie was born at home on the farm Feb. 1, 1921, to Rita and Ira Lowe. She was a member of Holy Rosary Church. She attended Idaho Falls schools and was a graduate of Idaho Falls High School.
Marjorie married John Delbert Jenkins on Feb. 5, 1946, in Idaho Falls. She worked as a bookkeeper for many years at Montgomery Ward and Sacred Heart Hospital. She was a member of Holy Rosary Parish and was a member and past president of the Holy Rosary Altar Society. In her later years, she did volunteer work at the Bonneville County Historical Museum and a local food bank. She also tutored reading at Holy Rosary School.
Marjorie was preceded in death by a son, John Lowell; her husband; her parents; two sisters, Dolly and Geraldine; and a brother, Howard. She is survived by three sons, David (Nancy) of Littleton, Colo., Steven (Robin) of Priest River, and Rick (Elizabeth) of Spokane, Wash.; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
