Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth Lowe, 84, of 213 W. B St., Brunswick, died Tuesday, Aug. 21, at Northampton Manor Nursing Center, Frederick.

She was the wife of Levin West Lowe, who died in 1993.

Born Dec. 7, 1916, in Columbia, S.C., she was a daughter of the late James B. Sr. and Lillie Mae Roof Peele.

Mrs. Lowe was a member of First Baptist Church, Brunswick.

She was also a member of the Brunswick Lioness Club, Pythian Sisters, Brunswick Chapter 97 of the Order of the Eastern Star, and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Brunswick Ambulance Co.

Surviving are one son, Ronald W. Lowe and wife Anna of Brunswick; one grandson, Claude L. Kentner of Montgomery, Ala.; three great-granddaughters, Ashley Kentner, Heather Kentner and Cassie Kentner, all of Montgomery; and one brother, James B. Peele Jr. of Lexington, S.C.

Mrs. Lowe was preceded in death by one sister, Mildred Peterson; and one brother, Murray J. Peele.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 24, at John T. Williams Funeral Home, 100 Petersville Road, Brunswick. The funeral home will be open from 1 to 9 p.m. Friday.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Daniel T. Spiker officiating.

Interment will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick.

Memorial contributions may be made to Brunswick Ambulance Co., 200 W. Potomac St., Brunswick, Md. 21716.
