Twin of Ann Dewhurst, who married Gillispie Walter Waldron.

Elizabeth was a daughter of Elizabeth Fielding of Blackburn, Lancaster, England and James Dewhurst of Balmores, Yorkshire, England.

The immigrated to America about 1852/54 and her father died enroute to the Great Salt Lake Valley on 13 May 1854, near Kansas City, on the Missouri River.

Elizabeth married Richard Lowe, the son of Mary Wilgoose and John Lowe, at Willard on 25 March 1860. She died giving birth to their first son, who also died in January of 1861.

Richard married Mary Rebecca Warner later and they are buried in Canada.

It is believed the baby son is buried with Elizabeth.

They have no marker at this date.
