Mrs. Otto Buerger, a Collingsworth county resident 56 years, died in St. Joseph's Hospital at 4:45 p.m. Monday, February 25.
Her death was unexpected. Although she had been ill several weeks, she was thought to be improving and on Sunday she had driven to her farm south of town. By Monday her condition became critical.
Mrs. Buerger was the former Stella Mae Loving, the daughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. J. H. Loving. She was born at Fate, Texas, May 8, 18892, and before coming here with he family, she lived at Blair, OK.
She was married to Otto Buerger May 21, 1911 in Wellington.
Their home was nine miles south of Wellington, where both Mr. and Mrs. Buerger were active in community and farm life. Following his death December 29, 1945, she continued to manager her farm. A few years ago she moved to town.
Mrs. Buerger had been a member of the Baptist Church many years and was especially active in its work. She was a long-time member of the choir.
Surviving Mrs. Buerger are six sisters and two brothers: Mrs. Pearl N. Shaw, Wheatland, OK' Mrs. Albert Christoph of Dallas; Mrs. c. H. Harrell, Mrs. Hoyt turner and Mrs. Richard Rauen of Amarillo; Mrs. chris Welfield and Joe Loving of Lakewood, California; and O. K. Loving of Wellington.
