MARION
__Beverly Loveless, of Marion, died Sunday, Jan. 4, 2009, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha after a short illness. Services: 11 a.m. Thursday at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Marion by Pastor Cecil Ballard. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
__Survivors include her husband, LeRoy "Duke" Loveless of Marion; sons, Steven (Mary) Sykora of Key West, Fla., and Ken (Jennifer) Sykora of Tucson, Ariz.; stepsons, Terry (Laura) Loveless of Cedar Rapids and Doug (Renata) Loveless of Cedar Rapids; grandchildren, Amber Hodge, Jillian, Chelsey and Matthew Sykora; stepgrandchildren, Terry and Becky Loveless, Keyia, Jae and Kayse Loveless; and great-grandsons, Wyley and Zike.
__Also surviving are sisters, Carol (Darrell) Vrchoticky, Phyllis (Ray) King and Sandy Hamilton.
__She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Barb Johnson; and her stepson, Steven Loveless.
__Beverly was born Aug. 4, 1936, the son of Herbert and Jenny (Carter) Brown, in Rochester, Ind. On March 15, 1969, she married LeRoy "Duke" Loveless in North Liberty. Beverly worked as a secretary for Evergreen Packaging for 24 years. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Marion.
__Beverly will be missed for her sense of humor, sense of family and her love of life. Her legacy will live on in our memories and our hearts.
