Louise Loveless, 84
Louise Loveless, 84, of Lafayette, died at 11:32 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 29, 2006, at Regency Place.
Born on Sept. 15, 1922, in Ash Grove Township, Ill., she was a daughter of the late Vachel and Mary McIlvain Howard. She graduated from Kirklin High School. She lived in Rossville for 25 years and the past six years in Lafayette.
She married Calvin Loveless on Sept. 19, 1944, in Frankfort, and he survives.
Mrs. Loveless was a homemaker. She enjoyed cross-Stitch puzzles, sewing and reading. She was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary.
Surviving with her husband are three daughters, Linda Nahm of Lafayette, Vickie Lane (husband: Clinton) of Flagstaff, Ariz., and Denise Menius (husband: Jeff) of Wildorado, Texas; and one sister, Maxine Rushton of Madison, Tenn.
Visitation 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2007, and the service 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 4, 2007, at Hippensteel Funeral Home, the Rev. Dr. Clayton Kendall officiating. Interment Spring Vale Cemetery. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, William and Homer Howard; a son, Michael Wayne Loveless; and a great-granddaughter, Brianna Sagnimeni. Hippensteel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
