Betty Jean Lovelace
Services for Betty Jean Lovelace were held at the Eakly Baptist Church, Sat., Jan. 20, 1990 with Rev. Mack Stegall and Rev. Paul Hudson officiating with burial in the Eakly Cemetery under direction of the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home.
Betty Jean was born June 28, 1925 at Tulsa and passed away at the Carnegie Tri-County Hospital, Jan. 18, 1990 at the age of 64. Betty moved to Norman in 1927, to Washington, Okla. in 1940, to Purcell in 1950, to OKC in 1960 and to Ft. Cobb in 1972.
Betty and Hardin M. Lovelace were married Sept. 6, 1940 at Purcell. She had been employed by the 3M Co. of Wfd for the past ten years. She was a member of the Kentucky Avenue Baptist Church in OKC. She was also a member of the O.E.S. in Purcell.
Survivors include her husband of the home in Ft. Cobb; two daughters, Sharon Reed of Aberdeen, Washington and Marion Kay Williams of Atwater, Ohio; one son, Hardin M. Lovelace Jr. of OKC; an aunt and uncle who raised Betty, Frank and Ruby Fisher of Norman; seven grandchildren and three brothers, Ed and Ernest Wilson, both of Blanchard and Chester Wilson of San Antonio, Tex.
