Cora Ann Tarlton Love, 87, of Monroe, passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at The Rehab and Nursing Center of Monroe.
Mrs. Love was born April 24, 1924, in Union County. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Furr; father, Winfred David Tarlton; mother, Beddie Esther Greene Tarlton; six brothers and three sisters.
The family will receive friends from 1 – 2 p.m., Friday, June 17, at Antioch Baptist Church of Monroe. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 with Rev. George Gouge and Rev. Joe Query officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Therman Israel Love; brothers, Howard Tarlton of Indian Trail and Herman Tarlton of Monroe; sisters, Bobbie Rushing and Shirley Caskey, both of Monroe.
