Charles Don LOVE, 58, Akron, was found dead in his car at 5 p.m. after his auto went off Ind. 14 a half-mile east of Rochester and struck a utility pole.

Love had no visible injuries from the accident and an autopsy this morning disclosed he died of a coronary occlusion, according to Junior D. GOOD, Fulton county coroner. The death thus is not listed as a traffic fatality.

A witness told state police the brake lights on Love's eastbound car came on before the car veered off the south side of the road and hit the pole. Police estimated the auto was going 35 mph when it left the highway. It stopped 155 feet from the point it went off the road.

Love was born May 12, 1917 at Markle, Ind. to J. F. and Golda HIGH LOVE and he lived most of his life in Akron. His marriage was on June 16, 1946 at Greenfield to Ruth KINGEN, who survives. He was an insurance adjuster for Auto Owners insurance company at Marion and formerly was a state police officer for 6 1/2 years at the Pendleton post. Love was a member of the Akron Church of God and the Lincoln Masonic lodge at Macy.

Surviving with the wife are two sons, Michael (Deanna) LOVE of Akron, and Kenneth LOVE of Thousand Oaks, Ca; three daughters, Mrs. John (Donna) LOER, Akron; Mrs. Bill (Cathy) MURPHY, Warsaw, and Mrs. Richard (Terry) SWARTZ, Valencia, Cal.; seven grandchildren; one step-daughter, Charlene ROBINSON, Greenfield, and one brother, James LOVE, Daytona Beach, Fla.

Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Akron Church of God with the Rev. J. D. THOMASON officiating. Burial will be in the Akron Cemetery. Friends may call at the Sheetz funeral home, Akron, after 2 p.m. Friday and at the church one hour prior to services. Masonic memorial services at the funeral home will be at 8:30 p.m. Friday.
