Christopher Wayne Lott, 43, of Fort Worth passed away Friday, Dec. 17, 2010 in Eagle, Colo. Funeral: 2 p.m. Thursday at Alliance Baptist Church, 8400 Park Vista Blvd., Fort Worth. Interment: Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the church. Chris was a decorated Army veteran and lead officer for the Department of Homeland Security. He enjoyed the outdoors. Whether he was skiing down a snowy mountainside, hiking up the side of the same mountainside, or fishing in any lake with friends, Chris was having a good time. But he loved nothing more than spending time with his family. Chris loved his country and served proudly to defend it. His knowledge of history was rivaled only by his knowledge of the Holy Bible. He studied so he could share his faith with others. He often asked, "How could anyone look around and not know there is a God in heaven?" Survivors: His wife, Amy Lott; and daughter, Courtney Lott Exley. He leaves behind a family whom he loved being surrounded by and countless friends who adored him.
