Daniel S. Lostutter, 62, of 208 Jones Road, a former Caterpillar Tractor Co. employee, died at 10:55 last night at St. Francis Hospital, where he had been a patient since July 6. He was born June 12, 1909 in Owensboro, KY, son of Walker W. and Lillie Buck Lostutter, and was married to Edith I. Murphy May 29, 1948 in Pontiac.

He is survived by his widow; 5 sons, Boyd of Connersville, IN, Albert and Irvin, both of Peoria, Gerald of Monsey, NY, Dan B. at home; two daughters, Mrs. Don (Wyovonna) Miller of Millington, TN, and Mrs. Don (Danya) Corley of Pekin, a sister, Sister Emeline of Fort Wayne, IN, one brother, Frank of Marion, IN; 21 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in deathy by an infant son, Dan Jr., and four brothers.

He worked at Caterpillar Tractor Co. for 21 1/2 years in the shipping department last working September, 1969. He was a member of Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church and a member of UAW Local 974 at Caterpillar. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the Endsley & Son Funeral Home, 1417 S. Stanley, the Rev. Harold Hamilton officiating. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
