Visitation is 11 a.m. to service time. Memorials may be made to the Conley Youth Center Fund at First Christian Church, Moline, or Rock Island County Humane Society.
Mr. Losey was born June 3, 1906, in Zenas, Ind., the son of Oliver W. and Leora B. Grimes Losey. He married Florence Ulery Oct. 20, 1945, in Springfield, Ill. She died Dec. 17, 1987.
He farmed in the Geneseo area and was a welder for Minneapolis-Moline. He then worked for the Quad City Airport Authority, retiring in 1973.
He was a member of First Christian Church, Moline, and AARP.
He enjoyed gardening, the outdoors, reading and traveling.
Survivors include a daughter, Marlene Carstens, Montpelier, Iowa; a son, Bill Johnson, Silvis; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a
great-great-grandson. He was preceded in death by a sister and a grandson.
