Mrs. Grace Lorimer HOATSON, aged 80 years, died yesterday at the home of her granddaughter, Mrs. George REES in Calumet.
She was the widow of the late Capt Thomas HOATSON who died in 1897 and for many years head mining Captain at the Calumet and Hecla mines. She died of a paralytic stroke.
She leaves children- Capt James H. and Thomas of Calumet; Mrs. Dollie COLLINS of Bisbee, Arizona; Mrs. Thomas Cole and Miss Lizzie, both of Duluth, Minnesota.
The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon from the home of Dr. REES. Internment will be at Lake View cemetery, Calumet in the family plot.
