She was the daughter of Doran and Forna Lorimer. She attended grade school in Atwood and Oberlin High School.
Ms. Ahmed worked in nursing and as a sales clerk.
Survivors include her mother, Frona Lorimer, Ellsworth; her father, Doran Lorimer, Atwood; a daughter, Zaiba Ahmed, Columbia, Mo.; and a sister, Lavonna Flora, Lawrence.
