Funeral services for Mrs. Agnes Grendler, 85 of Spencer, will be Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the Warner Chapel. Pastor Ron Meyer will officiate and burial will be in the Lone Tree Cemetery in Everly
Mrs. Grendler died Monday at the Spencer Municipal Hospital
Bearers will be Kirby Froehlich, Robert Berthusen, Norman Berthusen, Stanley Berthuse and Truman Berthusen
Mrs. Grendler was born May 27, 1891 in Benton County, the daughter of Henry and Catherine (Petersen) Lorenz.
She married Herman Grendler on May 2, 1916 in Spencer. He died in 1953
She was a member of the First English Lutheran Church of Spencer. She farmed in the Everly area until she moved to Spencer several years ago
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Roberta Berthusen of Gilman and Mrs. Evaline Froehlich of Spencer; seven grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. John Holst of Keystone
She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Phyllis who died in infancy, one sister, Alvena and one brother, Otto
