She was preceded in death by her father, Santiago Lopez; 2 brothers: Arthur Lopez and Tony Salazar; sister-in-law, Stella Lopez; 1 sister, Genevive Mascareñas; maternal grandparents: Ramon L. and Tonita Martinez; paternal grandparents: Juan B. and Bonifacia Lopez; and uncle, Teofilo Medina. Ruby achieved and received her associate's degree and was a Certified Physicians Assistant. Ruby loved motorcycles especially, Harley Davidson. Ruby enjoyed life, enjoyed it to the fullest and she loved to travel with her husband Doug. She is survived by her husband, Doug Barney of Arroyo Seco; children: Laura Michelle Barney of Colorado, Esperanza Martinez and husband Norman and Melanie Marquez all of Las Vegas, NV, Michael Paul Marquez and wife Alma and Jessica Marquez and companion Vicente Herrera all of Española; mother, Aurora Salazar and companion Henry Garcia of Chimayo; brothers and sisters: Julian Lopez and wife Donnette of Hernandez, Viola Martinez and husband Ray of Chimayo, Jimmy Lopez and wife Isabel of Fairview, Tommy Lopez of Santa Fe, Darlene Johnson and husband Rick of California, Andy Salazar of Española, Yvonne Telles and husband Danny of California and Roy Garcia of Gallup; close cousins: Wilfred Martinez and wife Wanda of California and Betty Jean Villareal of Pojoaque; 10 grandchildren; close great niece, Kendall Jaramillo of Chimayo and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and other loving relatives and friends.
