MRS. IDA BLOOD DIES IN STEGER TUESDAY
Mrs Ida Blood, 70, a resident of Momence most of her life died Tiesday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Nina Teissedre in Steger, following a four weeks' illness.
Funeral services will be held today (Friday) at 2 o'clock from the Canaday funeral chapel and burial will be in the Momence cemetery.
Mrs. Blood, the former Ida Loomis, was born January 10, 1866, in Yellowhead township and when a small child moved to Momence. She was a daughter of David and Amanda Loomis. Her husband, George, died in 1933.
The daughter and four sisters survive ---- Mrs. Hattie Ritter of Steger, Mrs. Emma McCauley of Chicago, Mrs. Winnie Hanna of Spokane and Mrs. Myrtle Hedger of Chicago Heights.
A son, William Blood, preceded her in death about nine years ago.
