She was married three times. Her first marriage was to Abram Ansel Riker about 1888. They had two children, Ethel and Abram, Jr. Abram, Sr. died Nov. 29, 1892. On May 3, 1894 at the parsonage of Immanuel Baptist Church, Utica, Mrs. Jennie M. Riker married John R. Bowen. They had a son, John, Jr. John, Sr. died July 26, 1895. In 1897 she married Elisha T. Brockway. They had two children Blanche and Floyd.
Besides her husband, Elisha T. Brockway, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Earl (Ethel) Hayman and Mrs. Robert Gorman, both of Utica; three sons, Abram A. Riker and Floyd Brockway, Utica and John R. Bowen, Philadelphia, PA; six sisters, Miss Elizabeth Loomis and Mrs. Walter Bross, Westdale; Mrs. R.D. Scoville, Mrs. Fred Platler and Miss Celia Loomis, Camden and Mrs. Horace Dean, Syracuse; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
